About Me

First Step Ministries, Inc. was founded in 2002 when I entered full-time ministry and moved to Germany, to answer my call as a missionary. I've ministered in the U.S., Europe, South Asia and the Far East.

Graduated from a Rhema Bible Training Center, Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1988 and maintain my ordination with Rhema Ministerial Association International.

My ministry experience includes positions as pastor, children's pastor and worship teams in various churches in the Phoenix, Arizona Metro area. It also includes being a charter member of a food bank ministry, Love In Action, that during its 20 years of ministry, served nearly 400,000 people with food, clothes, furniture and finances. 

Prior to full-time ministry, I worked for nearly ten years with DHL Worldwide Express in a variety of capacities including part of their management team, process & planning team for customer service and as a business analyst. I also owned and operated a number of small businesses. Prior to DHL I worked in outside sales, media communication and production including, radio, TV and print. 
 
My Ministry

Jesus said in Matthew 19:14, But Jesus said, "Suffer the little children and forbid them not to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven."

Jesus wanted a relationship with children. It is clear the scripture, he it is directed towards small children around him at that time.

We are all God's "children" and He wants to have a deep relationship with all of us. Age is not the issue or criteria. The Bible is full of verses that reflect His desire to know us at every level of maturity no matter what our chronological age happens to be. 

As adults, we some times discount a child's ability to have a deep relationship with Him because we assume that they are not emotionally mature enough to develop it. Clearly this is our bias as an adult and not God's idea.  

The goal of First Step Ministries is to help children:

• Network children's ministry workers and pastors to connect with each other in order to increase the effectiveness of their ministry to children.
• Help children develop a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ as their Savior
• Know who they are in Christ
• Understand that the Blood Covenant rights they have because of their relationship
• Understand the authority they have based on these Blood Covenant rights
• Exercise these rights in all areas of their lives starting at an early age
• Help them find and develop their "Gifts & Callings" given to them by Our Heavenly Father: Jer 1:5 & Rom 11:29
• Operate their "Gifts & Callings" in a safe environment
• Train children's workers, pastoral staff and parents to recognize and help develop their children
